At this point the ball seems to be in the milford prosecuters hands, I was transfered there after calling chief douglas's office of the milford pd.  got the answer machine.   I asked that since she had been arrested if she actually beat up anybody.  I stated that my understanding was that she was arrested for not having papers to safely drive from one place to another and not for actually beating anyone up.    :-\

Dave Ridley

as of roughly noon the kannings and co. were headed to vall street jail

lauren is apparently back there now....probably already arraigned at milford

i demonstrated there from 1130 to 1:00
also left msg on chief douglas' vm

a number for the prosecutor would be helpful but i'd say don't call him or her if you can't be polite

wtprn would probalby appreciate it if someone can call in. they're asking about it. also if someone could post information to the quest for fair trial blog

Dont these assholes have better things to do than intimidate Lauren?

They continue to provoke but will someday have to experience the side effects of their actions.

Lauren went to the court but was not arraigned today, I gather since she was not cooperating in her kidnapping/imprisonment.  They said she would not be arraigned tomorrow, but who knows if that is correct.

She is at the valley st jail.  we've been out there protesting for a while.  Be there until 5 when the open carry litter pick up starts.

Can someone find out the address to mail Lauren letters at the jail?  looks like you have to call there to get her inmate number to put on the envelope.

The good news is there are enough people around here now that we can respond fairly effectively at almost any hour of the day or night. (And you people gave me shit for sleeping in the daytime!)

Have I missed it or has the video not yet been posted?

Is this showing the actual arrest?

We need some "Free Lauren Canario" t-shirts to go with the "Free Russell Kanning" t-shirts. This is so freaky. Just the other day at the barn raising, I asked Lauren if she'd heard anything yet about the registration and DL tickets and she said "no". It feels like I jinxed her!  :'(

Kat Kanning

Thanks Rattydog!  You rock!  we got some notes in the mail to her so she can get them tomorrow (if they give it to her)

vid of the demonstration is processing now

we used murphy's as our base of operations since it is within walking distance of the valley street jail.

three cops came out to hassle us but hustled away when we didn't beg for mercy

I'll be rooting for you from down here!

Oh, and the Ridley Report is officially the greatest thing ever. I don't care how or when- at some point I'm getting to NH to protest with y'all.  :)  I could probably count on one hand the number of my classmates that even know what "libertarian" means, and it's downright depressing to compare what it's like here to what I see happening in NH.

Dave Ridley

got this msg from someone who may or may not want me to identify her/him

Dave,

In NH you can legally tow a car with a chain for 1 mile.............  So the impound lot (and police department) cant refuse to let it be towed away by someone in another car.

Also: Single axle tow dolly's (rentable at U-Haul places and the like) do not require registration.

The police cannot refuse to release a car if it is going to be legally towed away...
