Thanks.

The visual is easy to see once you think about it.
Porcupines already have a body shape that evokes the flame look.

Yes, it's really a very good image. Whoever thought of calling it "Burning Porcupine" is a marketing genius!

I just now heard about this and am excited but pleeeeeeze....

everyone think of something you can do to ensure this event *benefits* locals who just happen to live there.

anyone have ideas what can be done along these lines?

Dave Ridley

i can rent out my wookie costume and i do fairly memorable karaoke

if there is a fee for participation, maybe we could waive the fee for locals , i.e. folks that can prove grafton residency?

Kat Kanning

I don't believe there are going to be any fees involved.

Dave Ridley

maybe we could post a list of all the stores or things for sale in grafton...i assume there are only a few stores if any. only been there 2x

i'll try to do a ridley report about this shortly

That store could really benefit from a bunch of people camping in town.

Anyone have band suggestions?
The gang has discussed Pokerface and I liked the band that played at Firecracker Joes.

A good friend of mine is a musician, and also knows a number of local bands.  He seems very interested in attending Burning Porc, and playing his music (he plays very well).  He also suggested that we could use his sound system, depending on how big we expect the event to be.

at least 100 people the first year
