The modern newsreels made it too real for me  :o  They didn't use the 'Your days are numbered' part, but that's the way it felt.

Atlas Shrugged DVD MoneyBomb!

It all starts here...

Well, OK, it started with this e-mail from my spambox:

Quote

"A white rectangle hung over the city,
imparting the date to the men in the streets below.
In the rusty light of this evening's sunset,
    the rectangle said: September 2."

                 -- Ayn Rand, "Atlas Shrugged"

One Ron-Paul-sized money-bomb would be a tremendous boost and would assure the sequels are made!

Makes a great gift!
wait .... no gifts ..... views have to do the work themselves :)

You could give it to someone on the basis of having a mutually-beneficial relationship.

Or wait till it appears on BitTorrent...  someday...   >:D

I'm pretty sure that gifting one of these would be Altruism.

I've donated lots of money to various causes in the past, but I never thought of it as altruism.  With my support I was buying my place and recognition in the communities I supported.  Or so I thought...

It wouldn't be a selfless act if Libman wanted to live in an 'objectivist's world' and he thought that giving these things to people would help that cause.

I don't give money to anyone/anything that I don't want to succeed. Very selfish of me, and no excuses given.

aaaaaand we've finally got torrents!

Oh, the hypocrisy!  :D

But we are a multifaceted and evolving movement, and no one can be expected to agree on 100% of the issues.  The morality of intellectual property is very complex...  You can donate the money you save directly to the Ayn Rand Institute [WP], The Atlas Society [WP], etc.  The philosophy is better than the book, and the book is A LOT better than the movie!
