Oh, I must have misunderstood.  Just as you misunderstood that I thought it could happen overnight.  (These misunderstandings seem to be typical of our conversations.)

Also, I'm glad to know your group is anti-tax.  At the time I wrote that message (over a month ago), I understood you to be someone who wanted border security.  You came off as someone who just was angry about how your taxes were being spent, and wanted them spent in other ways.

Which, by the way is what many groups with "Taxpayers" in their names do.  They bitch and moan that their taxes aren't spent in the exact way they would please.  In fact some "taxpayers" groups are pro-taxes.  I never accused you of being pro-taxes, but now I'm just letting you know the source of my confusion.

We do not associate with groups who are pro taxes. We are working with groups who are trying to roll them back...and in the meanwhile, find out how they are being wasted to show why this must be done.

Also, you can call the Keene people "fringes", but I think they are some of the bravest people I've ever heard of.  I happen to appreciate the approach people like Russell and Kat take.  They don't wait for the government to be nice and reduce taxes, they just withhold it from them.

Keene is geographically on the fringes, not the people. It's out west. It's full of liberals. Why would anyone want to live there?

It might be pretty though......
All of NH is pretty, even the cities. So I supposed it doesn't matter. I just want to be near Manchester/Concord because I am in the statehouse so often.

I'm so glad you guys have FINALLY figured out that you agree with each other. It's been sometimes madening or Exasperating, and othertimes downright hillarious to watch you guys fight and watch you too talking past each other -- in many ways saying the exactly same thing!

^-^

Tracy, it just boggles the mind though when someone will pick at the smallest thing such as a name, and then use it to 'prove' that it means we are not pro-liberty or some other such accusation because it means we are 'taxpayers'...this is a pure crock.

It's mind boggling to be called an extremist and a statist at the same time. But stuff like the name taxpayers and the charge that went with it is downright off the wall. No one is going to listen to anyone if they come off as 'off the wall' like that... this is what worries me.

Well, I'm pretty sure we disagree on a few things, it's just we've ironed out the miscommunication.

For instance, CNHT still has a love affair with constitutional government, which I understand, because I used to be the same way.

Yer damned right I have a love affair with constitutional government. I haven't thrown my hands in the air and given up to World Government YET like some of you have. And I think it's a waste of time to argue with you because thankfully you are in the minority.

FTL_Ian

I don't know why you insist on labeling Free Marketeers as supporters of world government.  Perhaps I'm misunderstanding.  Who around here supports "world government"?

It's understandable. It would be ADmirable if the government got back into it's confines -- but it's a dead letter, so it's kind-of a Utopian pipe-dream.

Jane's right though. Socialists and one-worlders want to completely evicerate the Constitution too, so be carefull with your retoric.

Wrong, they want to "interpret" the constitution, and they consider it a "living document".

I don't want to interpret nuthin' -- the Constitution means what it says, period. Stop putting words in my mouth! !@#$!@#$

If you listen to John Lennon's song "Imagine" that is the one world government no rules or borders utopian dream you envision - no difference. I DON'T think Lennon was into libertarianism!

Enuff said.. Goodbye.

Try reading the posts, Jane.

"They" was in reference to "socialists" and "one-worlders", not you.
