I am very disheartened at the attitudes I see here. I am a very healthy vegan (almost, see below).
you should call yourself an ovo-vegetarian.
Do you eat honey too?
Do you wear wool?

Pat K

I think every one should eat what they like and much like religion if the folks your with don't want to hear about it=keep it to thy self.

People have been making tempeh for hundreds of years. It has b12.
I LOVE tempeh!
Fucking love it.
They have it at Shaw's, that blew me away, in California I had to go to the hippie-mart-coop to buy it from the communists.

I love Tempeh sliced into strips and put in the toaster oven, then dipped in spicy sauce. MmmmmMMMmmmMMm.
It's also great cut into cubes and fried.
Sometimes I crumble it into chili or soup.

Tempeh is awesome.

I agree some people can be quite healthy being vegan. I didn't mean to make a blanket statement before. I think everyone has a different body type and as with all things, what's good for one person isn't nessicarily good for another.

Amen. Prosetyzing is for pinheads.
Note, however, that you're reading a thread about some wierd sub-topic of vegetarianism, so don't be surprised when all us tree-hugging environmentalists start waxing poetic about how ONLY *WE* TRULY OBSERVE THE N.A.P.!
Muaahahahahahahaaaaa!

Cows milk is disgusting unless you are a baby cow.
How can you complain that people are complaing about vegans then in the next statement say this?
I don't like Milk... but I am not bashing it.
PatK has it right.
Eat want you want.

Hell Lex just wanted to find out about B-12 (What about B-52?)

Dreepa

You can say whatever the fuck you want about milk.

But don't cry if people also call themselves vegans if they eat eggs.

Today I am going to eat a buffalo burger at the state fair... yummy.
