Was it just me or did the constant karma smites stop when that one group left and formed nhteaparty.org?

I only know of a couple people who have actually left and gone to the tea party forum; most of the people on that forum are still on here, myself included...I saw no reason to leave  :)

All the smites that I had been getting were likely due to my frequent postings on the 9/11-related threads, the frequency of which have been slowing down. This I am guessing, as there is no way to actually see who is smiting or applauding

Check to see who is ignoring you -- that's usually a dead giveaway.
>:D

My karmic ass has been getting kicked the past few days over this non-voting thing.  I just don't want to threaten people with guns and jails, is that so evil?

What non-voting issue? I think the whole karmic thing is childish. I mean if you can't express your opinions to people who are supposed to be your allies without fear of retribution....geesh. Smiting is symbolic violence. (not sound like a liberal or that I give sh** about it, but, still...it seems juvenile to me to even have it there) And the fact that people who never posted one thing or never converse with you can smite to me is like talking behind someone's back. If you really care about what they are saying, speak up! But smiting/ignoring is the chicken's way out...

And yet you are here commenting on it ;)

Who me? I was on this thread from when Q started it, so when I got the notification of Brad's post I looked.
And I gave him some karma.

:-)

Alright, I'm making it my duty to applaud as often as possible.  Everyone's karma should go through the roof (well, I can only applaud once an hour so maybe it won't go through the roof).

I normally applaud when someone makes a good point, and rarely have I smote anyone.  But since someone is bound and determined to smite people for disagreeing with them, then I am going to applaud everyone to help balance it out.

I'm now headed to the members list to hand out karma to EVERYONE...

Yes you are a good guy. Sorry I did not know that was YOU at the scene of the 'accident'. I still owe you a beer! :-)

I've seen him put away quite a few without any visible signs of intoxication.

Quantrill, did you realize how large the members list was before you promised to applaud every member?   :o  ;D
