they are so funny about these things
now they just found it on the bottom of a pile
they almost didn't give it to me for lack of ID, but the guard remembered me.

I do not undertsand why they made you take it off. Many people can not even get their wedding ring off or for others (for personal or religious reasons) it is unacceptable to ever remove it.

I was thinking this today. Seems strange.
Probably for everyone's safety.

Ya, they probably get lots of random people comming in to pick up stolen wedding rings. LOL :-0
He remembered you? Wow. What a stunning capacity to retain knowledge - even after more than 24 hours?

Russell Kanning

He also decided that I looked like the picture they took of me.
I don't think any jail has taken my ring before. It is not like I will be working with heavy machinery or doing construction in there.

Jim Johnson

I'm sure they thought one of the inmates would steal it from you and you know how much the government hates competition.

Russell Kanning

haha
every day you spent in jail gave you much knowledge about the ways of the dark ones o wise one

The standby lawyer that the US magistrate appointed and is pay to be available to me sent me an email on Monday that the court was going to have a hearing this afternoon. I wrote him back a couple of times that I wasn't going to make it. This is the note he sent today:

Mr. Kanning,

The court has sent us an order stating you have to be in court today. The federal court sends our office all of your court dates and any material associated with your case since we have been appointed to represent you. YOU MUST APPEAR TODAY AT 2:00 P.M. OR A WARRANT WILL BE ISSUED.  We sent you an email on August 8, 2011 notifying you of this court date.
Thank you,

Rod Goble

Thanks for the email. But I will not be able to attend the hearing today.
The court has not sent me any paperwork, so I wonder what this is even about.

Talk to you later,
Russell

I guess they think I should show up as often as they want, when they want, and with as little notice as they want. They have not called me or sent me mail even though they have that info. Maybe they want to discuss that I didn't go to Concord on August 1st for a federal court hearing. Since they want me at their beck and call, it sure doesn't seem like I am even "innocent until proven guilty". I don't know what their next move will be. I was planning on going to the court some time, but I don't always have a ride for the dates they choose. Maybe they will escort me to the building in a luxury automobile with handcuffs for my own safety and security.

There are 3 case numbers in TX which appear with the Russell Mark Kanning persona. The first is closed with a final order directing the defendant to return to Concord, NH for prosecution.

The second is closed.

The third, apparently is an amended/merged version of the second. Information and arraignment order attached.

the first one is similar to paperwork they gave me in court a month ago, but with the added second count. i guess they decided to go ahead with it. i guess they are only communicating with "my attorney". I guess they consider me a "US" citizen and not Mexican .... and not in need of an interpreter.

so these don't seem to relate to the thing in Concord (which they have not pursued) other than being after that court date
I guess that the government's lawyer (I never signed representation with him, just talked with him) had to tell them 5 days before today that I need an interpreter. I understood what they said last time, but the legalese can get a little thick.
So they could put me in jail for a year and 1 month and fine me $110,000. I better file for some Obama bailout money so I can pay. Or the paperwork says the minimum is $50 and 1 years of TSR (whatever that is). The paperwork also says that I am currently in jail. I wonder if they told the jail to bring me there today.

Lloyd Danforth

I googled TSR. I'm thinking you could go with Terminate and Stay Resident. Perhaps Tropical Storm Risk. You would probably be alone at Texas Ski Ranch.

Maybe it means one year of being a tosser, Taxpayer Service Representative.

I hope it's not a one year Testicle Strength Review... something about the pop quiz's, I can' remember.
