I was just listening to the Keene scanner traffic, it's pretty active.  I can't recieve it at my house though. 
My scanner-internet unit is a full-size computer, scanner radio, and a high-speed internet connection.  If someone has electricity and an internet connection I can set it up there. 

Anyone in Keene want to host the unit?

At that link, please note my concern about what might be considered to be "public".

If taping in your car is a "public place", then anything in that "public place" (your car!) is open for examination by passing police officers.

Unintended consequences really suck.

Officer Braun was sure making a lot of justifications to me.  He acted like I accused him of illegitimacy, but I didn't say hardly anything. 
Credit where credit is due - he correctly guessed my name, destination and political tendencies, that's some fine police work.

I'm thinking I shouldn't have taken the ticket from his hand.  I wonder what he would have done.

I was waiting to see if you accepted it and what he would do if you didn't.  I expected him to just drop it into the car.  As this happened in Plainfield and he recognized your involvement in a local incident that was already getting a lot of attention, he handled you with kid gloves, doing the minimum job requirements, covering his ass.
