Oh I found this
http://www.hillsboroughcountydoc.org/operations/operations.htm

QuoteMAIL - all incoming mail is screened and censored (legal mail excluded).  After processing, all mail is routed to the inmates respective housing unit.  Unauthorized mail is returned to the sender with a letter of explanation.  All inmate correspondence must indicated their criminal control number.  Money orders and cashiers checks only will be accepted for deposit in to inmate accounts.  Books must be shipped directly from the publisher or book store.

Gordi is going to be taking care of Mail-to-Jail for Mike, he set that up beforehand. He did ask me to remind everyone to use the service once he's arrested and is in jail. He thought it was ironic that he set the service up, and now will be a recipient! And yes, he'll very much appreciate eveyone's calls and letters.

I called them and they said you don't have to put the prisoner number on mail, so this address should work.

I called the jail. I haven't done this before and so I probably wasn't as effective in asking questions as I could have been. I got only vague answers. Perhaps someone has some tips on what kind of questions are the most effective in getting info.

I did ask the booking officer about Mike being "forced" to give his fingerprints. The guy was adamant that they "don't force people to do anything."

Thanks Kat and libertine.

Can I suggest a mail-to-jail.com link in the forum's banner?

Libertine:  Can I ask you to send him today's anarchyinyourhead?

Has it been confirmed that Mike is non-cooperating? Was the failure to show up to the court hearing for Freedom Fest or a driving offense?

Freedom Fest court date is yet to happen.

This was on a bench warrant from his non-appearance on another offense

Thanks. Just confirming. Throwing together a JailedActivist.info page and wanted to make sure things are correct.

Hi all.

I'm Mike's friend and will be managing Mail-to-Jail for now. Thank you Libertine and Kat for posting the info. I will send all letters I receive on Monday after his arraignment when we find out where he's going to be held. I know he will appreciate your letters very much.

And, as Kellie said, it would be great if someone can post some tips on what kind of questions are the most effective in getting info when calling jail.

Arrest is for not showing up to court over ticket for speeding and an open container in the car.  Here's the thread about it:

He got arrested coming home from a party at my place :(

We were having a great night too-- lewd jokes, good beer, and great people.

Hey everyone - Mail-to-Jail is great but don't forget to use the contribute link, as otherwise the stamp money comes from Mike!  I put in $25.
