Alex Jones is rubbing off on him.

Eeep, this is not good. On a Sunday Morning as well! >.<

Be careful everyone up there!
I am sure they were not bugging the neighbors. It would have been fun hearing Ed talking to the feds in the woods. :)
By the time we got there the only thing dangerous happening was the biting flies.
Someone at Ed's place commented about the articles by "Tyler" in our paper. :)

I'm not talking about hiding communications about the case or its merits, I'm talking about hiding the posting of information that could be used as intelligence by the feds planning their eventual raid on the Brown residence.

Are the feds' movements being published out in the open? Are they announcing where their people are, how many of them there are, what they're up to, what equipment they're carrying, how they plan to raid the house, &c.? Maybe some of their communications are available on the police radio bands, but I doubt most of it is. So why should the same kind of information about the Browns be out in the open?

The information that has been given here, (recent situation) was all repeated from elsewhere. The feds know where that source of the info comes from.
The ones in contact with the Browns know better than to ask about details. ie: number of people, equipment ...

Besides the feds have the equipment to get this info and much more.

On the podcast early this morning, Ed mentioned having to send a couple of supporters home who turned out to be not what they represented themselves to be. One, he said, was there only a couple of days, the other a couple of months. Was the other one Peace?

If you want to have a secure portal for information I would say set up a competing site and put as much security on it as you would like. I think the people who set this site up wants everything that is posted in the open to show to the world we are not concealing anything. If the customers want secrecy they will flock to your competing site.
I completely agree with you man. If you want more security, you will have to find it elsewhere. This is a forum with a big front door.

Just recently some people started a new forum ( nhteaparty ) that some members of this forum switched to or post on both. That was a welcome occurance. :)

I and many others try to use this forum to get out news. We also plan events, but only ones that we don't mind publicized. :) We also tell good and bad jokes here. It might not be the best forum, but some of us like it here. 8)

BTW thanks for all the good info overnight by you guys.

TackletheWorld and the interim VP of the Underground passed us on their way up, so we should get some good stories from them later. Kat and I just stayed outside the Brown's home, so they didn't have to worry about us. :)

I'd rather not disrupt everything by having people going to two (and since we also have NH Tea Party already, it would be three) competing places to work on the same topic. People already cross-post stuff between those two sites, and the FSP Forum sometimes, and then different discussions pop up in two places, people miss stuff that was said in one place because they're in the other, and so on.

Now, redundancy is useful—backup sites, perhaps even with content mirrored from the primary site, in case one were to be taken down—but uncoördinated duplication is not.

In the marketplace competition improves the products and services. The customers will make the final decision. If you make a competing site and people flock to that site it just means that NhFree.com was not being responsive to the customers. Are there too many fast food companies out there and should the companies that don't have the largest market share just close their doors? Of course not a new fast food company would make the market better.

Right—all these entities are competing against one another. That's the way to do things when you're trying to make a profit for yourself, at the expense of those other companies. That's not, to me at least, a good way to set up discussion sites that are all working toward the same goals. I'm not interested in trying to put NHFree or NH Tea Party out of business, or even work toward that by sucking users out of these sites; I'm trying to improve what we already have.

I think the more sites out there the better especially if the government wants to stop the communications. It would be easy to take down 1 or 2 sites but to take down 50, 100, or even a million would be much much harder. The different sites could concentrate on different subjects and offer different information.

This is true. But the idea of redundant backup/mirrors also solves this problem. Or a single "site" that's maintained in a decentralized manner such that the single-point-of-failure problem doesn't manifest itself. If Freenet weren't so aggravatingly slow, maybe we should set up over there... ;D

/ Just throwing out ideas here...

I have to agree that it's a bad idea to give up tactical information. This sort of thing should be obvious, but apparently it is not. Posting it on some other forum rather than this one makes it no less of a bad idea.

Police: No Activity At Home Of Couple Convicted Of Tax Evasion

POSTED: 7:00 am EDT July 29, 2007
UPDATED: 7:04 am EDT July 29, 2007
PLAINFIELD, N.H. -- The U.S. Marshal's Office and state and local police insist there has been no law enforcement activity at the property of a Plainfield couple convicted of tax evasion.

People who live in that area also report no activity.

A supporter of Ed and Elaine Brown who is staying at their home tells an online radio station that he heard gunshots at around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Overnight, News 9 along with local police, state police, and the Marshal's office received numerous phone calls from the couple's supporters from several different states.

However, the reports of shots or a law enforcement presence are unfounded.

Ed and Elaine Brown have been holed up in their Plainfield home since they were each sentenced to more than five years in prison in April on federal tax evasion charges.

I think someone may have just been shooting off fireworks that were mistaken for gunshots.

OK, PrisonPlanet.com came back up within the past couple of hours, with two new stories quoted below.

Prison Planet.com Hit By Major Hack Attack --

QuotePrison Planet.com suffered a major attack last night after it was hacked.

The perpetrators could be trolls acting in response to our article about Wikipedia censorship yesterday or they could be acting on behalf of all manner of government agencies that we have clashed with over the years.

We have the command prompt information for the hack and are now in the process of identifying the culprit, with a view to pursuing criminal charges.

Every time we are hacked we respond in the same way, by re-doubling our efforts.

We will be hiring new people and launching new websites in the near future to further magnify our output in the information war.

The Loose Change Web-site, which I noticed being down last night following a threat overheard on #TomGreen (see nick list here), is also back up.

Has anyone here ever fought in battle?

I will be blunt. This is war people and there is no room for honesty. War is about killing your enemy and there is no compromise.

The feds want to kill the Browns and onyone else who is there supporting them. This is obvious. They know surrender is not a option. The game is quite simple for them as it puts the situation in "kill or be killed" mode.

The feds know the Browns will not surrender. By releasing tactical information and other tibits (on this site) and via We The People radio show, you are giving the feds a detailed map. You might as well post who is there and where they will be posted when an attack comes and what type of ammunition they have. It makes it a cakewalk when the feds know exactly where their enemy is, their weapons and how they will react in a given situation. From last nights radio show and the postings here I have gathered an enormous amount of information (and if I listed it here) you would be blown away.

IMO it is foolish to be releasing tidbits of imformation which the feds can easily put the pieces of the puzzle together. The trained feds are professional killers. This information is limiting the Browns chances of survival. The game is being played my ruthless thugs. Being honest and upfront about every move the Browns make is jeopardizing their lives. Some say that they do not care and want to be open and honest but this is not how one conducts themselves in wartimes.

I think y'all are crazy for the position being taken and I would have thought Ed knew more about survival/war tactics and adhered to a total secrecy plan. Please trust me and change your views. I have been there and done that. Your current actions have the feds licking their chops. You might as well draw them a map and put out the red carpet.

I can only ask that you redefine your position. Cold blooded killers do not care about honesty. Anyone who has fought and killed and watched people die should agree with me.

Ed, if you are reading this please change your position.

They have said they will offer no support for the Browns, so I am sure they ignored it.
I wouldn't want to see what the cops have to say. :(

They might be right.

I would not report that the reports are "unfounded". I myself am not sure what happened last night. Some of the activity reported doesn't seem to be very "fedlike", but I don't know.

Maybe tackle and facilitator know more from their visit. They just stopped by

Shots Fired At Browns Probable Attempt at Provocation
Numerous incidents last night around New Hampshire couple's property had frantic observers worried siege was underway

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
Sunday, July 29, 2007

30 to 40 shots were fired outside Ed and Elaine Brown's house last night in what was a probable attempt at provocation to goad the Browns and their supporters into a violent response.

Alex Jones spoke to Elaine Brown at around 11:30pm last night and confirmed that what sounded like automatic weapon fire was heard coming from a wooded area behind the house.

Another supporter of the Browns who was staying on the property in a trailer was also startled when his mobile home was violently pounded on in the middle of the night, but the perpetrator escaped.

According to the Brown's blog, others reported seeing Blackwater vehicles parked around the property on satellite surveillance images of the area.

Danny Riley, a friend of the Browns who is also staying in the house, earlier reported that a vehicle had made its way onto the property but fishtailed and suddenly accelerated away from the scene.

Frantic calls were made to the New Hampshire authorities throughout the night by concerned radio listeners, but early this morning the police denied any involvement in the incidents.

The events coincided with coordinated hack attacks of the Infowars, Prison Planet and We Are Change websites.

Early indications suggest that this was an attempt to provoke the Browns and their supporters into a violent response.

As ever, we are calling for calm heads on both sides and asking that the authorities leave the Browns alone and avoid needless bloodshed from taking place.
